I should have probably announced this first, but Salo covered that [in Romanian] here and on our official MAP webpage, on StudentClub.ro.

Last October, Andrei Csibi introduced me to 3 of his coworkers: Cornel Raţ, Ioan Lazarciuc aka Cret and Adi Muresan. They were all 3rd year students at the Technical University of Cluj-Napoca, Computer Science department. I’ve previously met Cret 2 years ago at a .NET Introduction course.

Adi, Cret and Cornel were interested about the Microsoft Academic Program from TUCN and from then we met and discussed different things, over coffee (coffee = fastest way to get Salo anywhere).

After some time, we received a mail from the guys, saying they would like to host a .NET Course this summer. We were glad to hear that and decided to help them.

Blog v1.2

I’ve just switched my blog to a new theme. It’s called Leia and is designed by Kapikua . I find it to be more refreshing and stylish. My friends Alex Mos and Mihai Evoiu helped me with tweaking it and I also got to learn a little CSS.

Although the last theme, Fallseason looked pretty nice, the orange colors did not look that good on certain LCD monitors, so I decided a change is needed. And also, it’s not Fall (i.e. at the moment I wrote this). I’ll probably keep it for later!

I still have some minor details to resolve, like changing the main picture with something computer relates, editing the Author field…

UPDATE: Alex was kind enough to allow me to use one of his excellent photos, as header for the blog. Thanks again!
